Hi Jamie,

I am assuming you mean an FD?

If so - then yes, but you will have to lip the gaurds/fenders and the tyres may scrub on the inside also.

It might look good but I think the handling of the car will be seriously compromised.

Hi Jamie

As you probably know Scary from Fast Car mag fitted them to his FD , but my mate Steve had to "flair" the wings for him (see picture for why) and remove the plastic inner wings completely , and he still didn't have much steering lock.

Also on top of this he only had them on for shows and things and reverted back to stock wheels for normal use as he found the handling and ride a "little" undesirable !

All the best Clive

Woah!!! yeah i have seen that car for sale now, not too keen on the style of wheel but still looks amazing.
I am going to go for some 20 inch kahns, i had a set of 18s on my mr2 turbo the kahn rss and they looked good so i couldnt go any smaller.
So far i have been quoted for about £2300 thats for the work done as well, i think its daft but hey im still young.
Thanks a lot for the help, i needed other peoples opinions and views before i go ahead with it!!, cheers

Don't do it!! 18's max surely or possibly 19's but you do want to be able to drive it don't you?! Whats the point in getting an FD which has to be one of the best handling cars around and then trying to stuff those beasts on it!
Hope you like tramlining !! :D

Jamie, you really need to think about this. You would be better getting some 18's/19's and getting some other bits on the money saved.

Yes we would all like to see an FD with 20's on, but half the reason why they dont work that well is due to the weight of the FD. The car is lite, VERY lite where cars go. This is the main point for big wheels, the cars that car run them are heavy (i.e. Jags, the executive Lexus, Mercs, etc.)

Just my opinion.

Thanks again for the that, i know it is going to cause little problems for handling and performance i am prepared to go that way.
I would keeps the 17's as well, i wouldnt get rid of them i might do the same and just put them on for shows and that so at least i will have both.
