Just got insured fully comp on my FD for about £1200! Cant remember the exact figure. My car is an import too.

I think Insurance companies just make it up as they go along!
I phoned Tesco the other day to get a quote on my renewal
23, 4 years no claims currently on other car, 2 years off bike, cat 1, 95 jap FD, clean licence

£5214!!

yet people in similar circumstances are paying about £1500
