If i every get round to it my robinhood will have a 12a turbo engine in it. I dont know why but these things are never that quick on the 1/4 mile. Should be good round a track though.
There was an ultra light weight Dax Rush with a Huyabuse turbo engine with 350bhp, he only managed 12 seconds. And they have padle sequential gears.

Does anybody know of any really quick lotus 7 stylee kit cars??

Excellent little car, still can't believe he put a rotary in there!

If he had put something like a semi-bridge 13b in there without the turbos it would have out lasted the car, and been almost as quick.

I bought the book on how to build an off road go cart by Ron Champion a few months ago and am in the middle of welding up the frame, and must admit it is giving me some evil thoughts on his other book, how to build a locost thingy for under £7.50. (or something like that) Anyone heard or read that book? Kinda tempting to maybe put the proposed 12a turbo into one of them instead of my moggy?
