who needs a turbo :)
P.S I don't know if its the microphone on the camera but the exhaust note is a little "odd" to say the least .... gotta love the "brap brap brap" idle though :D

Hi Mike! nice one.
Sounds like it has a huge/heavy flywheel though (slow reving). Have you seen/heard the video of my RX-4 Club Car that I use to own in Sydney? :)
See the page here:

Cool ... I like the RX4's a lot ... theres one for sale near me, but I've got too many projects on the go to even consider buying it :(
Theres also a 1st gen Stage rally RX7 for sale in the motoring news ... why do these things never crop up when you've got some space to spare
nevermind i'll just have to wack a bridgey in my car :D

This is a Fc Full bridge not as fun as your Rx but gives you an idea what a Bridge sounds like Turbo'd on Idle and what rev's.

The guy who owned this car was in the US Air force and built it over 3 years (whilst in japan) he ran a Half bridge for 2 years with a T04R on the road as an every day car.

It was a shame but Alf bought a house and could'nt afford to ship it from Japan(car not house LOL). Joulie built his last engine that as you can tell from the Video was a Full bridge with a T51 Kia etc, its mad when you think he ran 2mm seals and basicly a stock S5 engine.
Have you come across Chris Anderson? (US) he runs a half Bridge Drag car, he helped me with my templates etc (nice guy).

hmm.... I have fidled with rx7's in the past (mostly engine mapping, different turbos, etc.) but never really come across bridge porting.... (most of my work was with r32 skylines)
can someone explain for me or point me in the direction of an explanation?... ...I understand the basic principles of rotary engines, and its always intrigued me...

What do you want to know? How the Engine works or Porting?
Chris
