Hello all :)
Fitted my new rims yesterday and am very pleased with the 'look' these have achieved.
They are 18 inch Volk GT-7 rims in chrome/silver (the first in the country I think) in 8 inch width front, 9 inch rear with 43 offset on both. Stocks are 50 offset I think.
The rears fit beautifully, and the fronts just lightly touch the front inner wing plastic on full lock, so I'll have to go easy on the really tight parking spots!
I opted for Dunlop Formula R tyres in D01J pattern as I fancied something a bit sticky for occasional track use. Fronts are 235/40x18, rears are 265/35x18. They are just a fraction bigger in diameter than stock 16 inchers.
The shoulders of these tyres are very flat as opposed to normal road tyres which tend to kind of round off on the shoulders and that is why I think that they scuff the front inner arch.
Hope you like them as much as I do :)
Regards
