A.B.S. CURE?? TRY and hit a car!

Those that know me will know about my A.B.S. moans!
But this morning, I nearly hit an MX5,hit the brakes real hard
and stopped ok (no wheel lock)
Tonight on the way home from work the ABS light did NOT come
on at all?????????????? YAY!!!!!!!!!!
Any brake gurus out there,whats going on its been broke
a year before this? Could it just be air in system?????????:rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin :burnout

Could be air in the system, I know that some people have had trouble getting air bubbles out of the ABS unit, causing problems.

The other option could be an iffy sensor connection.

mine is off when I start the car, and doesnt come on until I apply the brakes... ...think it might be a similar thing....

I had to hit the brakes really hard the other day (similar thing, but some joker in a nova who thought he had a sports car pulled out infront of me) and the light went off...

...stayed off, but then has come back on again now...

Yep sounds the same (my light back on now to)
In the past ive checked the fuse(s) relay(s),wheel sensor(s),pipe(s), all connection(s) New pad(s) ,New disk(s) and new fluid ....Now What??
But the brakes do work fine.....
