Speed Pro ECU?

Anyone heard of these or know anything about these?

Opened up the footwell on my 3rd gen yesterday to find a ECU with Speed Pro emblazened across it. Been looking on the net for some info but can't find much about them. Not linking it to the RX7 anyway. Anyone?

My engine has gone pop on the front rotor and was wondering if this may have been one of the causes, incorrectly mapped ECU? What d'ya think?
