hi all, ive been getting my car painted while im having the new motor built. thought you may want to see some pics. the colour is called, 'brilliant gold' and im pretty stoked with it so far. :D

that looks verrrryyyy nice. i like gold and i think it will suit your little beasty. one concern is in the picture of the bonnet you have the front seat the shifter box and your rear seat looks like it will be toooooo big :rollin

hi all, well the car is back together, and looks like a car again. there are still a few more chrome trims to go in, ie, nose cone, gutters, doors corners etc, . its back at city performance for the motor to be bolted back in. not long now. :D :D

im taking the motor to them this week. everything else is pretty stright forward. all my manifolds, exhaust,cooler, etc are all sitting there waiting to go in. :D they are pretty busy though.

very nice ... is that the colour Mazda brought out on the 2nd gen mx5's ? ... it suits the car very well

it does look a bit similar to that mx5 colour in some of those pics but its not. its way more gold than brown. it was the "goldest" gold i could find. i think we found out it was off a citroen or something? ive forgotten now. :D

I never imagined gold would look good. But it is absolutely beautiful! Wish I could somehow justify spending that much on my RX-2.

was never interested in old school rotarys until I first saw yours, thought it was awesome in yellow and love it in gold. Shame you are so far to go have a look.
