hi,i know there are a lot of very knowledgable rotorists out there,so i hope you can give me some assistance!my 12a turbo has an EGI injector and ecu set up;obviously for a start i want an ecu that will recognise boost,and larger injectors.having looked at a 12a turbo specific page,it seems the Haltech F10 computer was recommended.(i located one in Australia for about £370 delivered).i recently contacted a relatively local Skyline tuners(can't remember their name,i'm afraid)who were very helpful,but said an E6K would be of more use to me,but that was at a cost of £900...;
i)has anyone any experience of the F10 and E6K,and which would they recommend for this application?
ii)where could i obtain larger injectors that would fit a 12a turbo(nothing over the top,i was thinking 800 max)
iii)or am i better off staying with the original injectors,and progamming the ecu for them?

any help is much appreciated,i'm interested in finding out if a little FB has the potential for seeing off an FD...:wave

well the difference between the f10 and the e6k is that the e6k does ignition too. so with an e6k you can use a distributorless ignition and you also have maps for igntion so you can set the timing rpm vs load. the f10 lets you keep the stock ignition, so its a little less invasive, and you have less to tune starting out.

i thought the 12at has 800cc injectors?

thanks for that.i don't really need a highly sensitive set up,and being as she's only a weekend car now(yay!),i only need to set her up once.you are kind of right about 12at injectors,should be 800,followed by a secondary 550,not the 2x440,2x440 i have.fuel consumption isn't a concern now,either,i was using her daily for work.i think i will go with the F10,one of my friends is returning to new zealand soon,so i'll get him to get it for me.:burnout looking forward to see if i can get it up to this fabled 350hp...

If you know which end of a soldering iron gets hot a megasquirt is around £90. Will handle staged injectors very nicely

i'm thinking of the f10 for my 1st gen too, its a lot less invasive to install, and the dizzys work well enough for me
