Don't know if any other Cosmophiles have seen this one. It's a Type S 20b 1990 model, I believe about 54k miles. Vendor is giving a 2 year engine warranty. Price is £6500.
the vendor's website is at www.hurley-engineering.ltd.uk

I paid £4900 for my 13b, including the cherished number plate, mileage about the same as this one. Don't know the going rate for 20b's. (Is there one?)
Being Type S 20b should handle OK - Got the hardest factory suspension settings.

The cars now sat on my drive, had it two weeks now.The car does handle very well for its size firmish ride and well weighted steering.I dont know how good the warranty will be, but with luck i wont need it as the engines just had a rebuild with mild street port. It used to be Eamon Hurleys own car so it should be ok.

Lovely looking car Kev,would be interesting to compare the S' model to mine as I have the high spec E-CCS model.
Although fairly soft, mine was'nt as bad as I was expecting and fast A' roads can be dealt with fairly quickly.
Brakes are the weak point on mine as with 300ps as standard and 1640kgs to stop I found they soon fade.
Mine is currently being stripped for a rebuild and will be ported and tweaked slighty during the rebuild.Should be a real sleeper when it's finished!
Regards
James

I found same with mine. A new set of pads and some decent tyres have improved things in "normal" driving a lot. Still be a bit reluctant to go on track again as the brakes don't get a chance to cool off between corners.
Good luck with the rebuild James, hope seh'e back on the road soon.

Wow, these are cheap prices.
Here in Oz, the same Cosmo's would be around the 8500 - 9000 Pounds area.
Would be great to get the VINs of those cars for the "Club Cosmo" register too.....:)

Hi
The VIN for my Cosmo type S is JCESE101115 Engine Number A286 manufactured in 1990. Sorry to hear the idiots down there wont let you import any more of these great cars. I shouldnt think it will be long before Blair and the P.C. crowd decide to do somethink similar across here.
I dont suppose there are any translated copies of workshop manuals down there for the 20b, as info is a bit thin on the ground in the UK.

I concure.
There is a very good chance that Steve Butcher will send his yellow Type-E.CCS to Glen in England. Glen will then on-sell it on Steve's behalf
As above, give Glen a buzz.

Mate, if your worried about fuel then any turbo rotary is not for you. These cars are seriously weekenders unless the owners are seriously wealthy or seriously addicted......... :3gears-rh
