Thanks for that one, Clive.
What I am looking for is a quick way to convert to non sequential , for diagnostic purposes. (Trying to solve a secondary boost problem)
I have seen a post about this on the USA RX-7 (big list), but i cannot find it again. I also thought there was a website but cant find that either.

After having read thought that link, i'm still unsure exact what a non-sequential conversion actually does to the behaviour of the car under boost.
Both turbos now run simultaneously? Anyone care to summerise what the advantages are?

Hiya mate ,
Yeah both turbos run simultaniously , this takes slightly longer to spool them up but thats not always a bad thing , might make my baby a bit easy to launch , you get a predictable boost curve , if you've ever had that second turbo kick in on a corner you'll know its not nice , think you may bet more power due to cleaning up the inlet and exhaust paths in the turbo thus making the turbos more efficient , but the best bit is losing all those vac hoses in the rats nest
I've not done mine yet but will be doing soon so all the above info is what I've gathered from others and may not be 100% correct , I know one member who runs non sequential - Donato , and he makes some decent times on the strip
Hope that helps

so making your 2 turbo`s work as one means you cn remove alot of the vac hoses?

Would running twin hybrids not help alleviate some of the lag when doing the conversion ?

Got to say, I loved it, If you're intending to drag or drift then its a beautiful setup for predictability, no dip at 4.5k, encourages a more detailed tuning approach to decrease spool delays on the primary (clipping the primary wheel brings it down also) and boost all the way to town, the perfect intro to a single!!!
Like I said on the other thread, if anyone is interested in doing this, I have my old NS twins, Y-pipe, intake etc for sale as the lure of a single after driving NS for 2 weeks was to great, seq twins are great for a stock car, but if you're a boost freak like I've always been, theres only one way forward!!!! 8o)

How to Do the Poor Man’s Non-Sequential Turbo Mod
Here’s what I did:
1. Wired turbo control door open and removed actuator rod from door mechanism.
2. Removed lines/plugged lines to charge control.
3. Removed charge relief and capped hole and vacuum line (I have since put it back on, but didn’t hook it back to the vacuum line.
4. Wastegate: Left the direct pressure line (with restrictor) in place.
Removed/capped the line that went to the solenoid.
5. Pre-control: History.
6. Installed down-pipe.
I’m waiting for my A/F gauge to come in, and I’ll be running to Home Depot for the parts necessary to turn down the boost a bit, per Broooks’ web site.

This may make sense to some but i dont have a clue...

I've now done the proper non sequential mod , I'll be able to let you know what its like soon hopefully as my cars almost back together , just waiting on a few bits to finish it :D then the long run in process :(
Its gonna feel like a completely different car I think , I've probably lost some low down power and torque due to going non seq , guessing the large street port might lose me a bit more low down torque and a new single clutch instead of that bugger of a twin that was on before , hopefully she'll be easier to drive in traffic and a bit easier to launch off the line

Rixio - Sorry ment to also say that if you want a lift doing the conversion ( poor or proper ) give me a shout and I'll give you a lift , poor mans should be a doddle compared to the proper
