We are pleased to announce in conjunction with Racing Beat that we are able to offer an Oil Cooler kit to replace the stock Mazda pipe kit that will not only be better than the Mazda steel and rubber pipes but will also save a huge ammount of money over the Mazda kit.

Many here will know these pipes can rust and in some cases fracture, indeed there was a bulletin sent out from Mazda for dealers to check these pipes for failure as RX-8's came in for servicing,

With this new kit you can have peace of mind that your engine oil will continue going around the engine, and not on the floor !,

More details can be found by following this link and also I have put a picture below to show how stock Mazda oil pipes corrode,

Please note that these are only avaliable for the 230 Twin Oil Cooler model initialy

oooh, they're nice. Two questions spring to mind, Clive...one is, why doesn't your link work, and the second is, where's the FD equivalent? :Giggle

Thanks Nik, mended.

Unlike RX-7 FD's, early'ish RX-8's suffer from and undertray assembly that encases the pipes shown and does not let air around them to dry them out if they get wet, leading to the corrosion seen here.

This was addressed in later RX-8's with different pipe work and a modified undertray however there are a lot of RX-8's out there with rusty pipes unlike the the FD that to my knowlage never suffered for this problem, hence Racing Beat never needed to make a pipe kit for the FD :cool
