Genuine Mazda Uprated Engine Mounts to fit: 2004-2009 RX-8.
As many have found to your cost Mazda U/K will charge you £125 plus Vat for the driver’s side and £134.76 plus Vat for the passenger side for these latest uprated mounts (they have now discontinued the earlier version).
MRP are now able to offer this latest mount at just £99 plus Vat for each side,
The engine mounts that hold the engine up and in the correct position are large rubber doughnuts that insulate the frame of the car from the vibrations of the engine , however on the RX-8 the earlier version of this mount is prone to collapsing onto the safety bar incorporated into the mounting
