sorry to sidetrack but on a different note, if anyone has an mx5 and a fc, would it be possible to measure the sills to see how much difference there is between the mx5 sills and fc sills.
Im still on a mission for some fc side steps :Giggle

Freaky rear bumper on the Eunos!
Spoiler looks
What about a small rear lip spoiler for the FD? There's a lack of any nice, affordable ones in the UK. Shine do one, but by the time you add on shipping etc at the current exchance rates, it's not too cheap :(

Any pics of what you have in mind Si?
I want start develoving some unique bits for the FD next year as it would be nice to see some fresh new designs.

Rear spoiler I wa thinking of would be something like this:

From here:

Also, I'm in love with the AutoExe front splitter for a 99 spec:
http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r30/Simon_r_hill/Image1.jpg
If you could make one of them for a reasonable price (http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-low/AutoExe-Carbon-Front-Splitter-Lip-Spoiler-FD3S-RX-7-Kouki-53801 eek!) I'd buy one of them, in FRP.
Sorry, minor hijack there...
Do you do anything for the MK2 Eunos? Some sort of front lip spoiler?

Thanks Si, looking at doing something similar to the Autoexe that will look good on both early and late spec bumpers.
No bits for the MK2's yet but hopefully will be working on bits for them next year.

Hi,
Si pointed me over to make me look at your nice side skirts... The only problem is that I have a mk2 MX5, do you know if these will fit, or do you have any plans on getting any bits for the mk2?
Cheers

Hi Benn, one guy on a mx5 forum brought a set for his MK2 and said they fitted ok, not as perfect as the MK1 they were designed for but still looked good. I will see if I can dig out some pictures of his car for you.
Cheers,
Martin

Sorry for the delay, here are the skirts on a MK2.
Thanks for the pics Martin, they do look good on a MK2, although the fitment at the rear looks a bit wrong. Do you think you will be doing any specifically for the MK2 in the near future? I would also be interested in a lip spoiler too if you have anything planned... :D

I have got plans for some MK2 parts but it probably wont happen for a little while yet, although MK2's have become more popular for modifying over the past year so that may hurry me along!

Have you got any skirts and gv lips at the moment Martin. Do you know if the skirts fit with front spats?
Speedline Imports
15th June 2010, 04:21 PM
All gone at the moment Jon, will get some more of each made up soo though. Skirts will go on with the front spats, but may require a bit of trimming. One of the guys on Nutz has them with front spats so they will go together.
