problem is if he gets it rebuilt....how much hes askes for it and how much he gets will be two different thing....He may spend £3-4K on a proper rebuild....so he will already be at 8-9k........to make it worth his while....he will want at least 9,5 k for it....he'll put it up for £10k...and probably walk away with £8.5 k....(if that!!!)

No you couldnt. I dont think it is even a To4z is it? The point of a Z is that its a HKS one, just because it has the same wheels etc, doesnt mean its a to4z.

It is a Garrett T04z - The "Z" stands for the ball bearing version of the T04, NOTHING to do with HKS, they just happen to be one of the first to make them. Garret make them too :).

What is a to4????????
HKS introduced the To4e, To4s and To4r and to the best of my knowledge the Z is BB version of the R with a ported shroud etc.

My point is he wont get 2.5k for the turbo and wheels. And also that I dont consider that a TO4Z.
This is a TO4Z http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Used-HKS-TO4Z-720HP-Turbo-RB26DETT-2JZGTE-1JZGTE-13B_W0QQitemZ250475160153QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Car sParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item3a517ba259&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Garret To4 series of turbo's were around when Adam was a boy and way before HKS in the 50's.Many of them are old technology, but that does not mean they are no good.
Like everything in life parts get modified and uprated all the time to keep them as up to the current view as possible.
Many were used on rotaries way before HKS got involved,it is a bit like their spark plugs............made by someone else and rebadged, and now made by someone else again because of all of the probs first time round.
That having been said To4Z is a very good bit of kit.http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=GRT-TBO-055&Category_Code=GTB

i paid deposit for the car sat morning 11 am in his bank them whet and rented truck to collect 6 am monday he then text me saying he sold the car at 410 pm and that he hoped i would understand he will not answer any calls so me thinks will have to go to him as he sent me address the funny part of this all is that he chased me 930/945 sat morn to find out if i had got to the bank yet so he must be real skint then not even ask if i would pay the differce that he had already agread on:mad:
i understand now that jugen bought the car maybe he would be able to let me no when he closed the deal and if it was before or after i had been chased or paid funds in to acc
i do think its wrong but now im out of pocket 250 for the truck retail as they would not refund back hire just the deposit the worse thing of all is that the car was for customer and its his money so as you can understand he's spitting flames :flamedmaybe il get a pm from him as he forgot how to answer the phone me thinks

Mark seemed like a pretty nice bloke but was pretty keen to get rid of it quickly
because Id chatted to him on thurs / friday. Agreed id have it, set a price and was waiting on his bank details then on friday night scratchies offered him a better deal and he went for that one, which i can understand and dont blame him for. seeing as though you were giving him the full amount on monday morning.
But to then go and flog it to jurgen anyway is abit harsh. aren't deposits to secure cars?
BlitzBoy
26th October 2009, 08:09 AM
exactly deposit is suppossed to secure a car in set time until a deposit is paid.
Mark should give some money towards your truck rental Scratchies
