31 Year old in a very low risk area, one SP30 (3 points), 4 years NCB, 3 years no claims. Freshly imported '92 FD = £1057.00, £200 excess
They initially quoted £730 until I told them it was an import
Still, not a bad quote. A.Flux quoted £1000 exactly but with a £500 excess... and I get cover for unlimited mods with no change to the premium with LV :)

Not yet... :)
I've found a car advertised locally and should pick it up on Saturday (it needed a few things sorted to make me happy).
Rest assured pictures will be forthcoming once I've spent a few hours polishing it (and changing the naff plates) ;)

I got a quote from Adrian Flux of £880 (I presently insure my Suzuki Cappuccino with em and I had my Soarer with them before that) but Liverpool Victoria quoted me £530 with unlimited mods NO security requirements No mileage requirements etc etc.
Now all I have to do is find a car (I got a quote on a '92 - but it wasnt all it was cracked up to be when I went to look)
So LV get my vote!

dont know if your interested but alot of people are re-regersting the Rx7 to a 1.3 we have just had a letter of pip WGT it costs £5 so its well worth it so u can get cheap tax. just thought i would mention it.

Now I've (finally) received my cover note from LV, I will be telling them to get stuffed!
I was quoted £200 excess on the phone and was also quoted on the basis that there is no alarm or imobiliser currently fitted to the car.
The cover notes states a £500 excess and a thatchams category 1 alarm is mandatory for theft cover. If my car gets nicked I'm buggered
Of course, I am intending to get a cat 1 alarm fitted anyway but they really should have told me I have no theft cover without one fitted.
They've also managed to 'lose' the first cover note that was sent to me, get the details of the second driver completely wrong and have so far failed to reimburse me for my previous policy which was terminated over a month ago (over £600)
Chris Knott have quoted £839 (with thatchams cat 1 alarm) so looks like I'll be changing to them.

just got off the phone to London Victoria, they couldnt find the exact model so declined to quote, depite me explaining the different engine sizes and various models (uk and Jap). I explained the people on here had quotes but she said that they have tightened up recently on getting the right model, i think what she actually means is that they messed up a few times and gave out quotes for the wrong model.
