Help Identifying Wires/Relays etc (stripping FC loom)

Hey guys.. Ive just begun to strip the crap outa my loom in my FC T2...


I have plans for a totally custom dash, with all the stalks/ buttons near the clocks and more all moved onto a switch panel, with only the essentials..

I also want to remove the blower unit and just have an on/off switch (set to fastest/hottest)..


so in order to begin this process I need to identify these two rogue wires...

Any ideas?? BOTH wires appear on BOTH sides (rear passenger and driver footwells). My initial thoughts were abs sensors and something else?:confused::confused:

Also..
In the boot, passenger side near the OEM jack storage bit are TWO RELAYS.. what do these do.. what system are they conencted too???:confused::xconfused



FINALLY.. does anyone have a decent indepth link to the wiring diagrams of the FC?? so i know what wires I can rip out safetly???

what about pictures of FC's with their looms stripped.. tips from people who have done it etc??:god:god

One of the big relays in the back is for the heated screen - I guess the other one may be to do with the arial or rear wiper ?

Not sure on your wires ?

The missus attacked the car last night.. basicly told her to remove everything she could...

and with a bit of help we ended up with this:

can someone confirm that the huuge middle block is non-essential and can be removed.... as Im pretty sure the far left is the heaters fan??

I want the heaters/blowers/whatever you want to call it to 'work' on full heat full blow only.. so the thing in the middle that i ASSUME is what changes the air flow direction etc is surplus to needs.. I only need the far left bit.. to phsyically blow hot air out of bay into cabin.. (helps engine cooling far as im aware)
