There is a bag of sweeties in it for anyone that can help with my FC.
It has a Microtech LT10 the engine is a fresh build with a half bridge. And the car has been started and it has run for about an hour. But it still doesnt want to start off the key and needs tow starting. Tim has tried to adjust the cranking map and the timing but to no avail (sp)
Other ideas is the main microtech starting wire, but this loom has been on another FC without any problems. The microtech has a base map to suit a streetport and TO4E turbo but the cranking and idling shouldnt be to different?
Any idease please?:Thumbs-up

gandy - what injectors was the map set for and what injectors have you got? is it possible youve got bigger injectors and are hence flooding the engine?
ie - a 550cc injector open for 1ms is gonna chuck in considerably less fuel than say a 1000cc open for the same amount of time? i guess im clutching at straws as Tim would have already checked this right?

One thing to check first is voltage drop when cranking engine. If voltage goes below 10v it will never start.

Put some new plugs in her.
Was this new housings? Might still want to run longer to get better compression?
Also try this map: http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=851329

Check the engines compression first as if it is low then at least you'll know if the problem is anything to do with the ecu.

As Ant said check the TPS calibration, on the screen (either hand unit, dash unit or laptop) you should see an asterisk next to the TPS, if not, the TPS isn't calibrated so the microtech will not switch from start map to idle map.

Comp is good. just ordered a wideband to see if that sheds any light on the current ECU map. Have to wait to get the turbo fixed first tho:2Confused
Thanks Mark I will ask Tim if he has checked this on the hand held thingy.
Then If all fails I will torch it. Have fun at the ring J:3gears-lh
