they're a 1.5 way torsen in the FD. They're good diffs, though if you plan on drifting the car i wouldn't bother. Just got mine welded and its sweet :D

was thinking weld ftw tbh how hard is it to live with at low speeds in carparks?

its fine in carparks. Hops a bit which slows you down, you just give it a few more revs. When your going above about 10 mph you wont notice it. Even on sprited drives its fine, the car only goes sideways if you make it. Though with the rear steer it makes the car so much faster through the corners, it just puts so much more power through the wheels than the shoddy open diff.

You should be able to get the diff out welded and put back in for £100. The main cost of that being taking the blasted thing out as you need to drop the rear subframe. You'd have to do that with an lsd anyhu.

.........if i hadn't dropped it off this morning at WGT id prob say yes but as iv just had a sneeky peak at the bill so far ill leave it for when the time comes to sell up, but me thinks the welded path for now, but thankyou!! - yea as soon as its back, being done.... its a shame i miss the drift aspect of my 300zx more than than its stupid power, how does the 'rear steer' effect drift?, does it require less/more momentum or does it limit you to 'kick' only, does it effect pendulum transfers?

:mmmm

was dyno'd this morning with nothing done to it at.........147 bh at the fly......:spank ....... i sense an over draught fail! lol!
