I have recently purchased some of these bushes and I was told they need to be pressed. So i rung rotechniks who want about £250 to do it which i'm not really prepared to pay.
The question is, whos fitted them? And how hard was it? and what will i need. And is there a write up? Id rather spend £250 (though i hope is not that much) on the tools to get the job done tbh
cheers :D

Well take some pic's and do a write up when you do it cause, I've had some bushes for mine since I got the car and never fitted them.

nice one dave - yeah it was me - not a bad job actually ;)
the only probs you may have is
1 - getting the disc off -took me over 4 hrs on this car :(
2 - getting the bush out - but a local place might press them out for a few ££ - getting the new bush in is simple - if of vaselene and a hammer ;)

it all depends if time is an issue to you - id rather spend 3 evening than say £150 to have it done

The cost will be in the labour to get it all apart, If you have a UK car then watch out as everything corrodes, the JDM ones are better and generally fall apart a lot easier. The whole of the bush should be pressed out. If you can take it apart yourself and either take the bits to AtomicRex or even your local garage as they will be able to press it out for you. Dont try to cut, bang, smash these things out as you will end up damaging them. Pressing out is simple, smoother and does no damage.
