It seems Tesco and Directline (I think they are the same company) will now not insure Under 25's on modded/high performance cars !!

Best to check if you plan on taking up a previously given quote

Just had this confirmed, they had a underwriting amendment on the first of march

Existing policies should be fine at renewal

I knew that Tescos had changed cos I rang round for a cheaper quote this time around, and guessed that Directline would have too, thank fcuk I just accepted the renewal then!! Was still £200 cheaper than last year.
Bricked it yesterday when they rang me up though! He was like 'Have you made any alterations to the car at all over the last year, any modifications at all?' Errrrr NO, why? ' Right thats fine sir' Turns out I think he was trying to sell me breakdown cover but I was still a bit scared!! :eek:
