G'day from DMRH
The biggest rotary drag racing event for the Aussie calender came & went with some serious numbers posted by the regular bunch of rotorheads.
Well known Sydney based racers "PAC performance" scored a 7.88@179mph from there 20B twin turbo powered RX-3 sedan.
Quickest on the night was the Sydney based "ROTORMASTER" FD Rx-7 with a 7.86@171mph from his twin turbo NOS assisted 20B side port engine
Brisbane based "MAZFIX" FD RX-7 scored an 8.01 but was in trouble all the way scrapping the wall at the end of the run. His 20B turbo machine popped its engine we suspect.
Sydney based "MAZSPORT" ran his FD RX-7 but was only able to squezze an 8.6 from its 20B with the car sounding like a Fart machine most of the time.
Privater, Martin Heard in his Datsun 1200 coupe running a turbo 13B with Motec injection ran an 8.5.
Many drama's & excitment with some RX's flipping up onto the rear bumpers & coming back down with an almighty crash.
More to come
