Hi Tim,
First is the car standard?? If not what mods do you have ?
Second did you buy the car like that or has it developed since ?
Does it do it for a few seconds and then settle or is this the norm?
Does it get worse when it's hot?? does it ever conk out ??
Will need more detailed info to be of any help as it could be one of many causes. Possible vacuum leak, poor compression, bad injector, fuel filter, spark plugs, ht lead, etc etc the list goes on.

Let us know how you get on with your car.

Hunting idle normally relates to one of the inlet manifold gaskets blowing.

Best to get a length of hose, put one end to your ear, and use the other to listen for blowing noises around the engine.

PS. Do you know where the CAPS LOCK key is? Please stop shouting
