Looking good, did Clive get the engine reconned in the end or is that the old one cleaned up ?

on your powersteering problems I was reading a thread on another forum about rally cars using Vauxhall corsa electric power assisted steering columns to retrofit older cars with power steering. It'd require quite a bit of custom work to fit the column (if it would fit that is) but all the electronics to make it work can be bought off the shelf from a few places now for less than £100.

Might be an idea if you are still struggling with the steering.

Says he took it apart himself & put new tips in.

I have plans for a turbo + intercooler.(which will break Clives heart if he ever finds out - he has killed himself with the origionallity detailing).

I'll wait and see as far as power steering is concerned, this ones got all new bushes and stuff, so im expecting it to be a bit better than the white one. So it sould be at 4 times the price!!

Northamptons not that far from Lincoln ... I bought some spares off him a couple of years ago. It looked pretty good then, and so it should considering his day job :)
