Hi Chaps,
on standard brakes and a every day use road FD should I just use DOT 3 as it says on the resivour cap???? if so what make...

Also is there a HOW to on the brake bleeding process

last but not least I hear you have to bleed the clutch.. where is this done?? any pics

Unless there is a seal compatibility problem i would use DOT 5.1, but i don't know if you can.

When I did mine, I used less than 500ml of fluid, so ended up with an unused bottle of expensive Castrol SRF! You don't need that for road use though.

thanks fot the link... very useful, But on the resivour cap it says only use DOT 3.. if this is all you can use is therre any make I should get?

5.1, Halfords own brand is fine for most :)
get a big tub and properly flush out all the old fluid - run at least 500ml through per corner :)
