Here is a pic of my car which I left in New Zealand. May eventually bring it to the UK when $$$ allows. It runs a 12A stage II with the usual mods.

Hi Hayden, how are you settling in???

Settling in well. Got to admit I'm sad to see the badrotor forum closed! I see the last member who tried to join called themself "PIMP RX IS GAY" - so I guess Andrew has a valid reason to close the site!!! So I decided to try & find a site which English rotor enthusiasts visit!
Hows things going back in NZ? Good to see the 3 on the track @ Manfield, awesome!

The 3 only lasted about 6 or 8 laps before blowing up :rollin but I am use to that.
Yep, shame about Badrotor, but it had been going down hill for a while. There are some other good sites around, like this one :cool
You will have to go and see Carl Hayward from this forum - he has a nice red 3 coupe just ready for your attention!!!!

Hi Hayden,
Welcome to the club!
What part of NZ did you live?I see you have a pic of the M/way in Dunedin,I used to live there!
I beleive that you are going through Green Island?Saddle hill in the background?

Yeah, you're right Carl.
I lived in St Clair. The rotor scene is slowly picking up in good old Dunedin. Brent Wing has a bat street car that recently ran in the 10's and a guy Shane there has a tubbed RX-3 13B turbo making it's debut at the CHCH nats just passed. I will be adding more Dunedin cars to my site soon - www.aotearotor.co.nz
Cheers,
Hayden

Hi Hayden and Welcome to MRC.
Real good to see the pictures of your car, be even better if we get to see it in the flesh. :)
There's only one other RX-3 over here that even comes close to looking as good as yours.
Hopefully we will see at RotorStock.

Hi Tony,
I have spoken to Mike Y only once so far,He seems like a really top man.I must give him a call agian before it's too late and he's gone back to NZ!I am not sure if he can afford to drink us dry!
hey Mike LMR,I have that vid that you watched too!Frustrating how few RX3's you see on it but there were loads racing at the time. There used to be at least 7 regular racers of RX3's back then in the production saloon racing alone.
Kind regards
Carl:rollin :D

I like the comment from the commentator at one point where he says somthing about the 'miss firing Mazda' just after a spin on a rally stage ... it sounded just fine to me ! infact it sounded like it had been quite heavily ported, which is odd as they were meant to be standard ;)
