Hi All,
Well i picked up the RX-7 from the docks yesterday and what a drive back it was! Currently owning a "lardy" Suora TT its a completely different drive. So much fun and it drive like a proper sports car, great steering and sounds amazing! Looks like the Supe may have to give way to one of these in the near future.
Here's a pic of the motor, what do ya think?
Cheers
Adam.

Adam that looks fantastic !!!
Hmmmmm must be very tempting to get rid of the supra.
To be fair though I wouldn't own a supra cause I think there too big and bulky, but I think there one of the best looking cars from Japan when kitted. It just seems that every bodykit made for a supra looks fantastic.

Hey Brian,
Yeah it looks very nice, just waiting for the compression test results, hope its all AOK. My Supe is too bulky, the RX is so light and nimble, although i do think it would feel a little unstable at high speed but apart from that what a car! I love it when you first see the car at the dock, the waiting and the first impression are great, especially for a car nut like myself:D
Cheers

Adam to be honest I don't know if I could answer that question without being biased. I am a rx7 fanatic through and through.
Without doubt for me the best looking sports car from Japan is the rx7. I can't really say what the most rewarding to drive but I love driving my rex, it feels like it was made for sports car enthusiast. Reliability well I love the car so much I don't mind rebuilding the engine when it goes pop.
I just can't vote for anything else than the rx7, I mean I had a father and what looked like say a 16 year old son in a ferrari 360 convertible the other week that just stopped on a high st both of them staring at my car in amazement, if I had a supra an imprezza etc etc they would not have batted a eyelid.
I could write all day my answer the rx7

Hi Glenn,
Its for sale unfortunately as thats my trade, but it was my first drive of one of these beasts, and after my first drive i must say i am very impressed, my supe has virtually been sold and i was going to replace it with another Supe, but i think i've changed my mind as the RX is definately a more involving drivers car, something i feel the supe does lack. Glenn is you car modded? if so is the performance much better? This one seemed very fast and it was nearly standard apart from HKS ignition???? and a stainless exhaust.
Cheers

Hi mate, no problems. They are a very fast nimble car in standard form (especially the 1999 onwards). They go stop and handle like racecars - a little bit of tweaking with the suspension and brakes (good pads and fliud) and they are a weapon on the circuit.
I don't actually have one on the road here now, (I have a racecar being built in Oz www.4rotor.com).
I have my brothers 3rotor Cosmo in the garage however!
