I just moved to LA from the North of England - Not got a rotary yet though - Still getting over having to sell the FD before the big move! I fancy a rx2 or something next.

Hi Shaun, Long time no speak - Yeah it's great out here how's everything back there? It's t-shirt weather again today... It's rained like three times since April, the weather is just insane! Rotary's seem to be pretty pricey out here in comparison to the UK though, I know i can't get an FD as nice as mine was for the same cash thats for sure! I'd struggle to get get one at all! (hence the lack of one...)

Fuel is back down to $1.79 a gallon you'll be pleased to hear... Although higher octanes are a little more (over the $2 mark).

the roads are pretty poor around LA though, loads of pot holes, very uneven and poor surface, not sure if an FD would be bearable. I'm either going to go with an old school rotary or a 67/68 Mustang next - The T-Bird is cool but i want more muscle! It's a difficult choice - I've wanted a 60's mustang since i can remember but i REALLY have the rotary bug too... Maybe i can convince Lauren she needs a rotary...

Clive - Thanks for the heads up with the SoCal club and thanks for the 2009 Calendar - Mine's in it twice and in the background on another (Well it's not mine anymore... But it's great all the same!). Oh and I love the RX4 - Not read the article yet (i only got it in the post from my parent this morning) but it looks fantastic!

I'll just have to see if i can arrange a UK business meeting for July so i dont miss RS6 :D

Hi mate :D

Car wise I'm just trying to update my fuel system and get more boost ! So cold here though just can't get anything done. Going as low as -9 here tonight !

I would go for an oldskool motor, the 1st gen are well versed and the support in america is so much better. Just need to get a sorted one for some real poke ! Don't need as much bhp because they aren't as heavy as the FD !

The SoCal club arrange the biggest rotary meeting with super seven, you lucky guy !

Petrol is down to $5.65 a gallon here. although LPG is half that :D

Don't know of any design engineer jobs near you ??? :Giggle
