I keep kearing from people that Tesco's are starting to give some very good quotes.
I know they are better known for their shopping abilities, but they even like modified cars.

i can get it insured for
TPTF with an agreed value for £383 with £100 excess
thats as a second car with NO no claims ( although they dont take them into consideration anyways ! )
and insured as a classic with a limited milage of 6000
which is ok for me as i want it as a second car

Insurance is expensive in UK ...
Insurance full option with MMA(Mutuelles du Mans Assurances) :
685 € per year (8000 kilometers maximum) for my FD
Perhaps you can try this link :www.mma-insurance.co.uk

I spent days and days on the internet trying to insure my '82 Savanna RX-7.
I settled for what I felt was a good deal at Firebond PLC for about £150, comp, agreed value, 3000 miles/year and £100 excess with no 'no claims bonus' to use. Most of the big companies were asking hundreds more.

Hello Glenn,
Yes - the price seemed OK, especially when compared with quotes from the 'biggies' !
Photos? Yes - but they are only medium resolution shots. I will take a few when I have given the wheels a bit of a clean - the lacquer has gone messy, like all of them do.
I'll certainly let you have copies.

When I put my age in as 21 on a UK model at Elephant, they quoted £1500... that was with 2 years no claims and 3 points.

There have been some fantastic quotes coming out of AON - but I think it is as long as the RX isn't your primary car.

Hi
I've got my gen 2 insured with Peoples Choice, TPFT for £304, and that includes legal and breakdown cover, £100 excess, and no mileage limit. Thats with five years NCB.

2 thumbs up fgr Adrian flux and firebond. Firebond ended up about a tenner less for the same cover on an FB. But they are also 140 less on my mk2 golf git. Oh and 10% if you belong to a club. Worth the subs
Bill
P.S. 4 cars now. Odd as I cycle to work
