We're very pleased to announce that our Rotary Escort won it's class at this weekend's 'Opposite Lock Rally 2008' and came 7th overall out of a 90 car start. Not bad for a little 1.3 eh?

I'm sure you'll all be glad to hear that the Rotary engine is making very big waves as we upset most of the other people running in the under 1400cc class (and a lot of the bigger engine cars too).

The car is out again in September (unless someone buys it in the meantime) so keep checking back for more info!!

To see more about this result, check our website here (http://www.lindopmotorsport.com/rotary_escort.htm)

Cheers,
Steve

Well done lads :)

Knew if you finished it would be top of the class!

Also thought it would upset a fair amount of people :Giggle

Whens the next event?

Are rotaries not penalised on cc bracket like they are in a lot of other motorsport?

Only for sprints & hill climbs where the cc is multiplied by 1.5.

For stage rallying the cc is not affected at all. We've had it confirmed by the MSA who are the governing body too!!
