We can now provide the dash flocking services of a company local to ourselves called Autoflock.

They are a relatively new company, turn out excellent work and their prices are extremely reasonable.

How much you looking at to do a standard FD dash mate?

To do a standard FD Dash in Black would cost £160 (inc vat) + Carriage. Many other colours are available but the price will vary.

You can also have things like gauge pods, sat nav docks, etc... moulded into the dash and flocked but again this is extra cost.

The standard of the work done is excellent with no lumps or bumps. A lot of flocking services are done in a workshop environment and you tend to find that dust and other particles get into the flock and make it far from smooth. You don't get this with the service that Autoflock provide as it's done in a sealed, controlled environment.

Im very interested in getting mine done also. i just need to find a spare dash!

Hi, yes the dash is charged with electrostatic conduction as you suggest.

That's what I was thinking....I was going to try some matt plastics paint first. Have noticed the rest of the dash is just as bad sometimes and you an't actually see out of one 1/2 of the front window.

I'd best get saving :)

Ok guys, have finally got round to putting together a FD specific price list. Other cars will be different so please email me if you have anything other than an FD.

The following prices are for black flocking on FD 7s only (All prices include VAT but not return shipping).

We wouldn't recommend doing any other colours on large panels as it's not as durable as black. Coloured flock is best used on small items such as vent surrounds, ashtrays, etc...:

Dashtop & Glove Box: £150

Centre Console: £40

Dial Surround: £40

Gearstick Surround: £40

Full Door Card: £65 (Each)
