Turbo Problems

I managed to engage stealth mode yesterday - sudden lack of boost, and big clouds of smoke whenever I lift off!

Assuming that this really is the turbo, what options have I got? Are they repairable, is a 2nd hand one sensible, or do I need to spend even more money?

I have a set of twins at home. They have done circa. 56k miles. Holding 10psi of boost without problem. No smoke or other signs of impending failure.

Looking for 200 quid.

they won't fit on a T2 though as they foul the intake manifold ... or so I am led to believe

i bought my one off of rx motors for £200 allthough turbo tecknics wanted about £200 to put new bearings in. i went the second hand root because if turbotecknics found any thing else wrong the cost would go up.
