Excellent service. Bought a battery and some spark plugs from MRP.
The battery i bought was out of stock so he gave a more expensive one at no extra cost. Delivery is very quick as well, so would definitely recommend.
Thanks again MRP.

Just want to add a positive comment toward both Clive and his wife for those considering purchasing parts from outside the UK.

Right, I'm probably gonna upset Clive now.....by giving him a whole heap of praise, and I think it'll probably make him get all embarassed, but I'm gonna do it anyway, sorry :o.
A while back I ordered some front brake discs for the FD from MRP from a certain manufacturer who shall remain nameless cos I'm not here to dish dirt and that. Anyway, they consistently failed to turn up, for whatever reason. Clive was always up front about it, and phoned me loads of times to update me on what was going on. As the weeks went by, it grew more and more clear that he was basically in an untenable position.
The firm just weren't coming up with the goods and were giving him the run-around with excuses and fibs and saying they'd email and then not, and so on. Knowing what an straight-up guy Clive is, I believed it all, and my own personal interpretation is that they were waiting for enough FD orders to make it economical for them to machine a whole batch up all at once , but that's just my conjecture.
Anyway, eventually, he phoned me to say he'd had enough and if they didn't come through, he would cancel the order. I was wondering where that left me when he went on to say that he'd make my order up to the more expensive Racing Brake discs, at no extra charge...and he did . After eight weeks of being messed around by the Italians, it took one week to get the Racing Brakes from the USA on other side of the world! He even provided me with a load of brake fluid FOC as well!
So, I am going to heap unreserved praise on Clive and MRP, because in an aftermarket all too often littered with huge delays and mis-represented goods, it's warmed my cynical old heart to find a beacon of customer service still shining. He could have just re-funded my order to me, he could have just waited indefinitley until the firm could be arsed to fill the order, he could have ignored my phone calls and never rung me back, but he went out of his way (and pocket!) to keep me informed and to make sure I was satisfied. I would never have dreamed of getting an upgrade out of the scenario, but the fact that Clive is willing to do that to preserve his reputation when it was not even his fault and he'd been let down by suppliers means that I would not hesitate in any way to give him as much praise as is humanly possible.
Take a bow, sir, you've earned my unreserved admiration :god
....right 'm off, I've got stuff to fit! It'll be nice to have brakes strong enough to match the engine at last :D

I'm going to add to this, not only only excellent and beyond the call of customer service from Clive, to the tune of personally delivering a battery as the couriers ....ed up but also a really decent bloke. I have called Clive countless times with random descriptions of things that i'm not sure about with my FD and Clive has always been really helpful, never frustrated by my endless calls and never made me feel like an idiot for asking really basic questions !
Hats off to Clive and MRP, legends !
