yeah you can get a shorter belt. everything comes off pretty easily (apart from the matrix under the glovebox, that is a bit of a pain. i found the best way to remove the pipes (as they threaded through everything) was to free one end and then fatigue them till they broke.
clive should be able to sort you out with a belt i think.

your not meant too but if you undo the 10mm bolt on the condenser n stand back n poke it with a big stick, the top a pop off and release all the gas, then your safe to remove the rest of it :)

right gas- it is illegal to release gas into the enviroment, although that could be only certain gases, i cant completely remember. however if it were to be accidentally released (i dunno by say undoing a pipe) i seriously doubt you would get caught....
if you do have an accidental release then let it dissipate for a while- it is heavier than air, and although isn't toxic doesn't support life. if it comes into contact with naked flame it turns to phosgene though, so no smoking!!!!
job wise? i assume you're also a matlot? i am at sultan on NRC at the mo. pick up my boat in October.

its not a hard job bud..
if you remove the condenser then just follow the metal pipes and remove everything that there connected too you`ll be fine :) o also the HUGE MOFO radiator that sits infront behind the bumper cn come away 2..

Silly question here, but Im assuming if you remove the aircon radiator from being in front of the normal radiator, thats more cooling air that will be hitting the normal radiator and slightly cooler running temps. Thinking of removing mine for the weight saving, and to help temps. Anyone notice any difference thats removed the aircon?

You wont notice that much difference but im bining mine off soon as it zaps engine power/drinks more fuel.
