Standard FD Weight and Size

Just been looking through all the documents i got with my FD a few years ago and found a Certificate of Registration. Theres some useful figures on there which some might be intersted in if they didnt already know. The car was completely standard at the time these figures where recorded.

Weight of Vehicle: 1260kg
FF Axle Weight: 630kg
RR Axle Weight: 630kg

Length: 429cm
Width: 176cm
Height: 123cm

It is quite amazing that despite it being a standard road car it still weighs in at Featherweight levels

And maintaining a 50:50 Weight distribution too

Im hoping we can get ours down to 950kgs this year :)

Thats what I love about the FD, same weight as my previous car - EK Civic VTi, but almost twice the power!:D

I did an Autosolo on Sunday. There was a weighbridge on the site , so a few guys tried it.

My car,
1997 RS FD3S, Stock twins, no mods, RX-8 wheels, no spare tyre, 2/3 tank of fuel, no driver - 1280 KG.
