Hello
A week ago i bougth myself a 85 929 Coupe, as i understand this car was also aviable with the name Cosmo and a 12A turbo engine punching out 165-170hp.
I do also have a wrecked 88 626 Coupe here, this car was equipped with a 2,0 DOHC 4 cyl engine wich i buildt up with a turbocharger and intercooler setup. this car was legal with this setup, and 170 hp (a made up number) was written in the registration papers.
My 929 has also a 4 cyl engine, but this one produses only 120hp and i misses the fun i had in the 626.
So what i want to do are to install the turboed DOHC engine from the 626 in my 929, but to do this legally i need to dokument the 929`s closeness to the Cosmo HB`s 12A Turbo version,
This means that i need as much specs as possible on the Cosmo HB, and also the partnumbers on the brakedisks front and rear.
A VIN number from such a car would also help a lot with the task of gathering the dokumentation i need.
Thanks in advance
Arne
