Hello to all -
Newboy to these forums , up until now I have been 'hanging out' at the rx8forum.com , but got put onto this via a link from Clive.
Anyway - Like some of you I have already ordered my RX8 and over at the other forum there are a growing number of people who are getting very frustrated with the lack of news from Mazda UK. (i.e. these are people who have parted with £1000 for the car and have heard nothing)
The dealers seem to have varied information with no real clarity as to who gets first shipment , or even an expected timetable of events (e.g. Feb orders taken , March confirmation , April first brochures available etc etc...)
We are putting together a list of questions to put to Mazda UK.
(one of the members has a contact within Mazda head office and is something to do with the RX8 programme)
Should we get any joy I will post it here for your info....
Morgan.

Fancy seeing you guys here!Small world eh
Looks like an even bigger audience for our joint letter to Mazda here, there may be a lot of people here with deposits paid who want some answers.
How can we get a list together of who has pre-ordered, to give a total number? £1,000 each will soon add up to a good stash of cash.
I'm new to all this forum stuff so any ideas anyone?
I'm going to be a junior for ages if I'm posting and reading 2 forums!!

Hi Morgan,
Well l am real pleased that someone from the U/K reads my posts
in the USA ! , thanks for coming over.
l hear what you say and will admit that we have been frusterated by the lack of fresh info coming from them, and they know we are actively trying to help them sell this car as l said to them a long time if their involvement with us only sold ten more cars thats 1/4 of a million in the bank for Mazda!
As for your list of questions if you pass them to me l will send them down to the person in Mazda HQ that has been assigned to our club who happens to be the main person in charge of selling the RX-8 in the U/K !
As a club though we are now very honored that we are on their press release list and our full members will from now on receive the new quaterly magazine and RX-8 info through their doors, we beleive we are only the second club on the planit to receive such assistance with the other being SoCal in the U/S.
Look forward to hearing from you BTW pleased to tell you that Zoom44 has been in here for quite a wile now plus some others and Bue Adept has gone further and is a full member of mazdarotaryclub.com.
All the Best Clive.

Zoom ! Tinck! - it is a small world !
Thanks for the welcome guys.
Clive - I have taken the liberty of posting part of your reply on t'other forum (rx8forum.com).
I am sure we can raise a LOAD of chaps with deposits already in place to hit Mazda with for more info.
Thanks for the kind offer.
I also suspect that there may be some future members of the MazdaRotaryClub on the rx8forum. There are certainly some keen guys. Interestingly some have not had rotarys before which underlines this cars appeal across all fronts. What I mean is for me the rotary is the main factor but others are also buying this car on spec alone - which must be a good thing for all Wankel-Addicts !
