Well after buying my first cosmo a few months ago, im gonna have to sell it again :( :( :( :( :( :(
I got to thinking how much more difficult its going to get to find these cars over here in the coming years. How rare are they in japan these days? How long until its almost impossible to find them?
I will be back in the market in a couple of years and im worried i wont be able to find another one :( :(

jc cosmo? theyre on ebay quite often and always on the jap auction sites i visit. £2,000 will easily get you a 20b one in japan. in some cases the 20b engines fetch more than the complete cars.

Good 20b's are getting harder to find in Japan and the price is increasing because of this only. 4500 where built how many have been cut for there engines over the years, or sold over here or Aus. In another year or so it'll be even worse.

Soooooooooooo glad I got one of these 20b's.
As Kev says under 5000 as a world wide production run isn't a lot and that ended in 95
:Thumbs-up

Is that you Steve? If so, sorry to hear you're getting rid of it :( You were the kind of home we wanted it to go to. If you do sell it, please let me know where it's gone. Also i have found the spare key and immobiliser fob so give me a shout and we'll sort it out for you.
cheers,
phil.

My best guess on Cosmo's down under is around 150 with about 110 of them being 20B-REW
Across the moat in Australia's 7th state (NZ) I suspect around 60+ floating around. Again, most would be the 20B versions as the 13B wasn't a worthy option to import
