Scooby or FD both cost the same!

just phoned my insurer, told them I was contemplating swapping my WRX STi for a 3rd Gen type RZ and asked what the inrease would be. I park on street, central Reading (high crime area) 6 yrs NCB mirrored over both cars. the Scooby costs me £724 at the mo limited mileage 4500, the Rex would be the same. This pleased me :) although I still think reading some of you guys quotes that something is very wrong! I'm 30 clean licence with 6 yrs NCB ! That's living in Reading and not having a garage for u! :confused:

that's pretty good then :cool: & i think many who have high quotes on here are younger with less experiance & so have to pay for the privilege ;)
I'm actually paying less on the FD than i was on a UK scooby, nearly half & not using the NCB c/o the classic car policy thing :D
I wood add thou that while i haven't had the car long there's is more to the running costs than just insurance i can now laugh at the scoobynetter when they moan about 20mpg :reallymad lol
