I'll see what I can do, mind you it looks stock from the outside but I'll try and get an engine bay shot as well.

here you go, some pics for you. Like I said looks stock from the outside, but a very neat job on the engine etc.

looks ok, but as soon as I see lots of silocone joiners on the turbo/intercooler piping my heart sinks. Its the cheapest and easiest way to do it, but far from the best.

Agreed, but I'm sure if you could afford to buy it and get it over here then you could sort that out.

I was only comparing the build to this mess!

im also on the look out for that big hose to attach air filter. Dragon would you have one in ally or silicone with a filter attached? ta

What are the other options Ross?

It's clear that you need something that flexes in between the block and the parts that mount off the chassis but, other than a silicone section what else works?

Presumably still using the silicone stuff, but only at those points. The joins in the pics look very long, and the join between the pipes from the cooler to the intake could be one long mandrel bent piece?

((depending on Ross' reply, I either look like a technical genius or a 'tard. No middle ground really....))

You want metal I/C piping, you only need 2 small joiners which will allow for the movement between engine and IC.
The reason people use so much silocone is because its easy, however it balloons up, can split and the less joins the better is obvious!
Manrel bent, lobster back etc. Titanium cut and shut is the coolest in my opinion!

Well done 'bish, you win the 'not a 'tard of the day' award :)

Thanks for the reply Ross. Makes sense to keep the weakest parts of the system as short (and few) as possible!
