Parts - New Old Stock

After seeing a few of the recent posts here regarding parts availability I think I may be able to help.

I've bought this lot on Ebay a few weeks ago

Ex - Mazda Dealer Parts Stock 1970 / 1980 models
INCLUDES ROTARY ENGINE SPARES!

Description

Models covered include Mazda 1000 and 1300, 818, 616, 323, 626 Montrose, 929 and pickup. Parts include some body panels and exhausts, plus everything else from door handles to wipers, steering components to h/brake cables, and too many other parts to list. Included with these parts are critical engine parts for the RX2, RX3 and RX4 models including O ring and seal kits.

Now before you get too excited I have'nt got them yet - I'm picking it all up on Saturday.

I dont really know whats there yet, all the guy said was that it was more than a Transit full, and I'm mostly only interested in the 1000/1300stuff.

I'll put a post up as soon as I've sorted through it and got a definite list of whats there.

Nothing would give me greater pleasure than to help keep the old skool stuff going ( and obviously get some of my money back!)

i would be interested in any 616 1600 stuff, service bits, shocks, bushes, anything really,,, especially body panels... fingers crossed

i know a guy who buys up ex dealer stock for datsuns, he has sheds full of the stuff,,, big sheds,,,, you can hardly walk in them...

Hi Fraser,
Well the stuff's back here in the wild west, and is currently sprawled all over the garage floor. Unfortunately it aint catalogued so its going to take some time to go through it all cross referencing the parts books.:(
All I can tell you at the moment is that the panels are
2 complete inner wings and passenger door for a B1600 pick up (!),
a used but rust free (and slightly dented but repairable) RX3 coupe bare passenger side door (this will be on Ebay in a few days).
a 323 RWD bonnet and estate tailgate,
and an front pannel of unknown, at the moment, model.

There are loads of light units, lenses, cables,seals, gasket sets, - just a pile of various items, too much to describe.

So over the next few days (weeks?) I'm going to catalogue it all, and when i've got an idea of whats what I'll put a post up.

The studs I used are, guess what? - Ford. Just drill out the present threads with, if I remember right, a 10mm drill and press in the studs.
