Hi
I am a car trader based in Epsom Surrey,I wouldn't say I'm an RX7 lover just a lover of different cars generally, although in the short time I have owned this car I have enjoyed it.I have read some of the threads and I don't understand all the tech jargon but I can see that you all seem to love your cars.I'm not sure exactly which model I actually own,I don't think it's a turbo as it doesn't have the air intake on the bonnet and ther's nothing in the V5 it's in good condition with a full history from Mazda the strange thing is it has done 104k without a rebuild and runs as sweet as a nut I thought they had to have a rebuild at about 60k? is my car an exception? Also it is time to move onwards and upwards anyone interested if so you can e-mail me at gwcars@hotmail .com

Regards Graham

PS One last question there is a small 30mm exhaust pipe that runs alongside the n/s silencer what's it for!

i had a light blue EGI ( non turbo ) that had done 114k with no rebuild - its not uncommon for the EGI

the turbo verson - well that usually goes pop around 60 - 70 K

and the 30mm pipe - errr no idea !

That 3rd pipe runs from your thermal reactor, its part of the dual airflow system on the exhaust. There are two reactors, one at the exhaust ports and this is where it leads from if memory serves.

Not always the case as there is some exeptions but Second gen NA 120-130,000 miles on an engine. A Turbo Second gen 90-100k and a Thrid gen 50-70k
