wot bhp with a ported engine?

As im getting my fd (95 jap import) back from rotechnics tomorrow with the engine rebuilt and ported i was wondering what type of bhp ill be running?

these r my other mods:-

HKS HIPER EXHAUST (cat back)
HKS SEQUENTIAL DUMP VALVE
HKS SUPER POWER FLOW

Hi there!

With these mods. you should be up around 300hp at the flywheel. But what type of ECU/Fuel system are you running? You will have to bee careful for boost spikes/ and boost creep etc. - leading to leaning out.

It is very important to ensure that the engine is running rich enough - check this with Rotecniks.

i was told it was a 16 bit ecu by henning of fduk, he said they run richer than the 8 bit ones? it has a FEED bonnet and bumper with RE wing mirrors in black! 300hp oh joy, ive also got £500 burning a GREAT BIG HOLE in my pocket, any suggestions??????:confused:

Nice one! yes, the 16bit ones do run a little richer - still a very good idea to ensure it is not running lean.

If I was in your position, I would put the £500 towards upgrading the fuel system (larger pump, regulator) or a little further an get yourself an Apexi through Ant at www.reworx.co.uk.

It is such a bug! one thing after the other :)
