Help ! with Rear fog light for FD3S

Hi all

I have a 96 RX7 which is an import. It appears to have no rear fog light therefore I will struggle with my MOT. Can I wire my front fog switch into my rear light cluster therefore not having an ugly external fog light.

I've fitted a Pugeot 206 rear fog light to my kit car and that looks pretty nice, I wonder if one could be fitted to a 3rd gen rear bumper ?

I'm sure somone else has a better solution though as the number of Jap imports are terrific in the UK at the moment

I had a reversing light converted, but remember that the swith has to be illuminated or an led to warn when on.

hi,

i have just imported a fd3s and coverted one of the rear reversing lights into a fog light. Mine passed it's mot, but my car is a 92. Not sure if this method is good enough for a SVA test. I would check first.

No you can't do this for an sva it will fail.
You have to have an ugly job done i'm afraid, but once you pass
your sva test a sAdam stated you can take it off and convert one of your reverse lights instead.
