View Full Version : Does anybody have any idea regarding the value of a Cosmo 110?

I made the mistake to buy 'Retro Viseur' while travelling in France...

Someone's selling a Cosmo 110 in there, supposedly in good condition with exception of the engine - it looks like a dealer so I would expect that the description would be reasonably accurate...

Anyway, I'm tempted although I shouldn't be so the question is - how much are they actually worth when they're running and how hard is it to get parts to rebuild one? I don't think that it would be beneficial to stick a 13B in there unless the car was engineless in the first place, which it doesn't appear to be.

a mint one sold for silly money in Japan recently ... desirable old school models in good nick fetch good money (but not many buyers)

That $45k one in the US isn't by any chance a slightly modified one? If so I've seen that on fleabay.

The one in the ad is supposedly EUR30k and still needs the engine doing so even with a mint body that does sound a bit too expensive (given that the engine is likely to be a moneypit if I want to have it done in an original fashion).

Oh well, I can dream...
