RX-2 pads same as RX-7?

Does anyone know if early RX-7 pads will fit and RX-2? Racing beat lists the same part number. Is this true in the UK?

Martin,

Been looking around like mad for you, I don't think they are the same - I'm pretty sure the RX-7 came with larger calipers than the RX-2.

Hi Martin,

Most pads cross over to lots of vehicles so if you would like to lay the pad on paper and draw me two shapes , one of the metal back and one of the pad shape and scan and send l should be able to find you your pads,

Incredibly, a local spares shop got me a set within about 3 hours!
£20, and I hope to fit them tonight or tomorrow night.

You have done well, because Ferodo have apparently discontinued FDB40 but ADL offer an alternative for future referance .

Ok, brake pads fitted left hand. Will do RH tomorrow night and then test drive ( if the snow's gone away!)
