SOrry, just had to start up a bragging thread!

Ran 0-60 in 5.88secs today with an average 0-60 of 6.2.
Qtr mile was 14.05 dead at 98mph!

All the work done on my car has been done by me! The stats are:-

88' 2nd gen, 120k miles, standard wheels and suspension.
Rebuilt engine with about 6500miles on it (just getting run in), ported housings (cones removed etc), ground and smoothed intake ports, straight through exhaust system, (far too loud, surprised I've not been pulled by plod) K&N induction kit (great while youre moving, crap in traffic-too much heat build up), platinum plugs and decent HT leads + coils, slotted vented brake discs, green stuff pads.
Am waiting for an excuse to buy a new ecu!

Ok, brag over, anyone else got something to match? (Yes I know the T2's can :censored::censored::censored::censored: all over me if they've been mod'd)

Sounds good Brett.
It is good to see someone having a go with a N/A car.
It is all too easy to resort to turboing all the time, and much harder to make gains without.
Good on you!
Any pics??
Kind regards
Carl

Sadly no pics, yet, will do some soon though. It looks standard, and its looking its age! Still I scared the sh*t out of a local T2 owner last week!
I will try to make it to most of the events this year.

The engine is out of my old gen 2 which had a lamppost/car interface after a blow out, which is a shame, because body wise that old car was a gem! This one needs a full rub down, welding and respray! So if you know of any decent bodyshops in the south I'm all ears!
