i just signed up today (this afternoon) and wanted to post in the discussion on track days.... ....it says Im not authorised, so is that a members only section of the site, or am I just being thick?...

I used to play (sorry I mean work) with rx's and other cars in japan, and might pop along to the track day (I only live in leic.), although I dont have an rx7 (or anything else suitable for track days yet) so was just going to have a look at what people brought along... ...any idea of times to be there, etc., etc?

also, is this a friendly car club, or am I going to be attacked by a gang of boy-racers for turning up in anything other than a screaming jap car? :D

hi cat boy, you cant get on the right bit yet probably coz they havent sorted your membership stuff out. dont worry it will get done mine was the same. as for an interest in track day, do you mean the one on sunday? if so i'll see you there. i think im the only club member going and im afraid my car isnt anything to look at but id like to say hi to another rotary nut so if you do go ive got a red rx7 t2. as for time, if your not racing get there when you want.

Im not racing, as unfortunately I dont have a loony car anymore... ...I did have a 175bhp (@wheels!) '63 mini cooper-s, but its gone to japan to some collector (made me an offer I cant refuse etc...)

will try and come along; always like to see peoples cars :)
its only just up the road too, so no excusses really!...
