strange bumf when i typed sumin in

just did it in another thread & response was slightly bizzarre & annoying kuz it woodnt let me then edit it so had to delete it & start again. I presume it was that i stumbled across a code type language thingamy, i no all the technical terms init http://www.smilies.okipages.com/s/contrib/blackeye/SHOCKED.gif lol
Anyway was using a kinda shorthand to do equivilent or pre 2003 by using < ' 03 but without spaces & see if it does it:

What i typed was the less than kinda sign above the , followed byt Oct then ' then 03 as i recall then load of wird stuff which also vanishes or changes when another post after but cant edit message or owt go on try it i dare ya......lol
