Dear All,

Does anyone have any experiance with the DIY FCD described on Teamfc3s?

Link:

Has anyone on the list done this?

Any comments / horror storys?

I have my man Dan itching to get his soldering iron out on my behalf, but I want to get some background from you guys before I let him off the leash.

Hello again.

When i bought my Car (Red T2) it had an FCD fitted, i found it worked ok but my Fuel presure could not withstand much more than 10psi of boost.

My advice would be to make sure you have 12v at the Pump at Full throttle and maybe even a Pump upgrade.

My Red T2 had blown the corners of 2 Apex seals when i bought it due to the previous guy fitting a Bleed valve and winding the boost up without checking if there was enough fuel to handle it, the funny thing is i drove it for 4 months like that on std boost (with the Idle set to 1200 rpm) it drove suprisingly well considering it had 40/40/90 20/20/70 comp.
